Do you see how you have been misled by the health food industry about Vitamin C?
Or, should I quit pulling punches and tell it straight …
YOU ARE BEING LIED TO BY THE HEALTH FOOD INDUSTRY.
You are being deliberately deceived. You are being cheated out of the health you’ve invested so much in preserving.
It is you, the health-conscious person who is being cheated the most, since the more nutrition supplements you take the more you are being damaged by a viciously deceptive industry -- one that has won you over with promises of health, youth and vitality, all the while taking your money for pills and potions that actually make you weaker and sicker.
You see, the factual, scientific type of case I just made against irresponsible Vitamin C supplementation could be made just as well against almost all of the vitamins as well as all of the minerals, and all of the trace minerals, not to mention the amino acids, the herbs, and nearly all the other pills and potions peddled by the health food industry.
I made the case above for excess Vitamin C being a harmful oxidant instead of the anti-oxidant that it should be when used responsibly.
In its damaging role as an oxidant Vitamin C destroys the activity of one other important anti-oxidant -- Vitamin E. But, the reverse can also occur. Excess Vitamin E will also act as an oxidant instead of an anti- oxidant and in fact, doses of Vitamin E much above 140 milligrams will actually destroy the activity of Vitamin C.
I also mentioned above the effects of Vitamin C in depleting you of copper. That essential trace mineral is also depleted by excess intake of the trace mineral zinc.
You may be surprised to learn that only two weeks of zinc supplementation of 18.5 milligrams is enough to cause a copper deficiency.
Another problem with excess zinc supplementation is it will actually cause high cholesterol.
You have now seen that both Vitamin C and zinc work against the activity of copper.
How many people do you know that are taking Vitamin C and zinc because they are both “good for the immune system?”
This combination has such a powerful anti-copper effect that it can actually cause cardio-vascular disease, cardiac abnormalities such as blood vessel and heart rupture, abnormal EKG’s and elevated levels of cholesterol, triglycerides and glucose
Do you see how unfair it is?
Do you see that the more supplements you have taken the more you have let yourself be cheated and damaged by an unscrupulous industry?
The health food industry started out decades ago as a wonderful thing -- offering an alternative to the few people at that time who were interested in maximizing their health.
There are still some wonderful, well-meaning people in the industry who, however, have been duped by the same propaganda that has led you astray.
Now that you realize the truth, what is a health-conscious person like you supposed to do?
Stop taking supplements altogether?
No!
It turns out that you were right. You really do need supplements.
Just how much damage is being done when our nutrition needs are not met?
Research shows that fatigue, mood changes, and weight gain are all signs of the stress of poor nutrition.
Research shows that these ordinary, every day miseries are only the tip of the iceberg, and are the forerunners for such severe conditions as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.
After 25 years in private practice and treating thousands of patients I can say with high degree of certainty that you can enrich your life and maximize your health if you supplement with nutrients of the highest biologically activity, and if you supplement with nutrients in proper balance.
Let me repeat what I just said.
The supplements you take MUST be of the highest biological activity and MUST be in proper balance.
You may be thinking what does “highest biological activity” mean?
Simply put, this term means supplements that are completely absorbed by your body and not flushed down the toilet. (Typical trashy supplements – pass right through you and into the toilet without ever actually being absorbed into your blood.)
Make sense?
You want a supplement that breaks down completely, long before it gets even to the beginning part of your intestinal tract, so that all the nutrients are absorbed.
You want a supplement that provides the highest biological activity of nutrient
You want a supplement that has the proper balance of nutrients. Not too much and not too little of specific nutrients
Ok, I can hear you saying… “How will I know if the supplement I am taking or plan to take is meeting the above criteria?
Well before I get into any of the details, I want you to do yourself a favor:
Go to the kitchen right now and get out a loaf of bread, a box of commercial cereal and your multi-vitamin/mineral supplement. (If you are taking one… of course)
Now read on the labels until you come to the B vitamins used to “enrich” these products.
You will likely find Vitamin B1 listed there as thiamine hydrochloride or mononitrate; you will also find Vitamin B6 listed as pyridoxine hydrochloride.
These are the forms of Vitamin B1 and B6 universally used in nutrition supplements and the enrichment of foods.
But here is something that no one ever told you:
These are NOT the forms of these vitamins that are used naturally by your body.
You want to be certain that the supplements you are taking or plan to take contains B vitamins in their biological active enzyme co-factor form.
Ok, carefully read what your supplements MUST have in order to meet the above criteria of superior biological activity and optimal nutrient balance
Vitamin A
Vitamin A Palmitate (retinyl palmitate, all-trans-retinyl palmitate) is superior to retinol. Vitamin A palmitate is the preferred form of vitamin A because it is possible that RP patients may have problems converting beta carotene into vitamin A.
Vitamin C
Ascorbyl palmitate, is a fat-soluble form of ascorbic acid, or vitamin C. Unlike ascorbic acid, which is water-soluble, ascorbyl palmitate is able to be stored in cell membranes until needed by the body.
Ascorbic Acid vs. Ascorbyl Palmitate
The simplest and most available form of vitamin C is ascorbic acid. However, the chemical reality of ascorbic acid will always make its bioavailability and absorption a problem because it is water soluble. In the body, the uptake of a water soluble vitamin is quick but its penetration of the cellular membrane is limited. Unlike vitamin E, a fat soluble vitamin, vitamin C is NOT stored in the body.
Ascorbyl palmitate is absorbed quickly by the aqueous environment of our bodies, but because it is fat soluble it also reaches into the deep layers of human cells much more readily
B-1
Synthetic thiamin is usually marketed as thiamin hydrochloride or thiamin mononitrate" and is a "coal tar derivative" (most synthetic vitamins are petroleum derivatives). No thiamin hydrochloride or thiamin mononitrate is naturally found in any Food (thiamin pyrophosphate is the most common Food form of vitamin B-1) Other synthetic B vitamin forms include pyridoxine hydrochloride, folic acid, pantothenic acid, and cyanocobalaminthese are all crystalline in structure whereas B vitamins in Food are never crystalline.
Look for the highly absorbable thiamine pyrosphosphate type of B-1
Synthetic 'nutrients' do not do all the functions that natural ones do, so why would anyone want to take them?
B-2
Vitamin B2 exists in the form of riboflavine-5-phosphate, the form of the vitamin occurring naturally in tissues and cells.
And how about B-6?
Look for the superior pyridoxal-5-phosphate instead of the cheap stuff (pyridoxine hydrochloride) used in the food industry and in the supplement industry.
I bet you didn’t know about this when it comes to B-vitamins
The health food industry is happy to dress up their label with mega doses of B vitamins making you think you are getting more for your money.
Using Vitamin B1 as an example, did you know that the maximum dose your body can absorb is less than 4 milligrams?
That is 4 milligrams!!!
What does that say about a supplement that contains 10, 20, or even 50 milligrams of Vitamin B1?
Who ever made that product is either ignorant or dishonest -- either way you don’t want the garbage they’re selling.
You want a supplement that gives you the highest biological activity nutrients, in quantities for maximum absorption and utilization
What about calcium and magnesium?
Well, take a look at these facts!
Calcium
The cheapest, common supplement is Calcium Carbonate, made from limestone, or oyster shells. Calcium carbonate is not soluble in water and is poorly absorbed. There are other problems with this calcium supplement in large amounts over a long period of time. Calcium carbonate is an antacid which reduces stomach acidity and may interfere with the digestion of food. It causes "rebound" hyperacidity after it leaves the stomach. It blocks its own absorption. It may be poorly absorbed, and bind other minerals and vitamins. Calcium citrate is also not soluble in water and may not be absorbed easily.
More soluble calcium compounds are the best to use but are more expensive and are best delivered in a powder form dissolved in juice or added to food.
Calcium glycerophosphate is the most soluble compound. This form of calcium is used extensively in the food industry because it is soluble, safe and is well tolerated in the gastrointestinal tract. Its high solubility mean better absorption and the daily dose required is less than calcium carbonate.
Magnesium
Magnesium glycinate is the best-absorbed form of magnesium, thus taking lower doses of this form is superior to taking higher doses in other forms, and does not cause gastro-intestinal distress. Magnesium glycinate is absorbed into the body as an amino acid, rather than a mineral, allowing it to be easily absorbed and efficiently used in the body.
Another even more important point you need to understand is the significance of the type and quality of mineral and trace mineral content found in your supplements
Again, efficiency of absorption and utilization is the key.
One example to illustrate is the trace mineral chromium.
In a quality multi-vitamin/mineral supplement you will find chromium polynicotinate, which has been shown to be 18 times more bio-active than other forms of chromium, and, which is also the form of chromium that relates specifically to preventing blood sugar (and brain sugar) problems.
Another key to finding the best supplement is to look at the proportion of trace minerals to vitamins
A superior supplement will have a higher proportion of trace minerals to vitamins.
Bread, cereal, and beverages are (as you know) commonly fortified with B and C vitamins, yet contain little, if any, trace minerals.
A common trick employed by health food companies is to dress up product labels with the names of all kinds of fancy nutrients -- but they put them in there in insignificant quantities.
Consider, for instance, the powerful anti-oxidant glutathione. You may find glutathione listed on the label of a popular supplement in a quantity such as 1600 micrograms. 1600 might look like an impressive number, but 1600 micrograms is so small as to be totally insignificant -- another attempt to trick you into thinking you are getting more than you are.
Look for a supplement that has 40 milligrams of glutathione -- 25 times the quantity of this nutrient that you will ever find in an ordinary supplement (if you find any at all).
I hope I have gotten my point across and I hope you have learned what to look for in a quality supplement.
Remember this…
Don’t Jeopardize your Health with Cheap Supplements
See if your supplement includes any of the most effective supplements below.

Don’t Settle for Anything Less!
The human body really does need supplements. Many, many studies have shown conclusively that our high carbohydrate modern diet is so devoid of essential nutrients that we are all at risk for unnecessary health problems.
The good news is that there is one multiple supplement which has been developed to give you everything that may be missing from your diet, as well as the high-powered nutrients needed to keep you looking and feeling your best while preventing the development of degenerative diseases.
The name of that supplement is Oxygenic B.

Now if you are thinking that I am trying to sell you something, the answer is "of course I am". I have been recommending Oxygenic B for my patients for over 15 years and have yet to find anything that compares.

You may be wondering how Oxygenic B differs from the typical multiple supplements that you can buy at the health food store.
The answer is that Oxygenic B offers two specific and important benefits.
The first is the broad diversity of nutrients. Oxygenic B contains 37 uniquely formulated nutritional factors.
The second benefit that Oxygenic B provides is the high biological activity of the nutrients. The composition of these nutrients is such that they are easily absorbed, which provides maximum contribution to the efficiency to your body's metabolic processes. In other words, Oxygenic B gives you nutrients with the highest biological activity, in quantities designed for maximum absorption and utilization.
Another component of Oxygenic B is that the Vitamin C is in fat-soluble form. This form of Vitamin C is retained and utilized far more effectively than ordinary water-soluble Vitamin C.
An even more important benefit you get from Oxygenic B is its mineral and trace mineral content. Again, efficiency of absorption and utilization is the key.
Another benefit of Oxygenic B when compared to other supplements is its high proportion of trace minerals to vitamins. Oxygenic B has been formulated with careful consideration given to the typical modern diet. Bread, cereal, and beverages are (as you know) commonly fortified with B and C vitamins, yet they contain little, if any, trace minerals.
Perhaps the most important advantage of Oxygenic B is that your body absorbs virtually all the nutrients. Most vitamins and minerals can be absorbed through only a very short section of your intestines. Many cheap supplements pass right through you and into the toilet without ever actually being absorbed into your blood.
However, when Oxygenic B is taken after a meal, it breaks down completely long before it gets even to the beginning part of your intestinal tract, so that all the nutrients are properly absorbed. Simply put, this term means supplements that are completely absorbed by your body and not flushed down the toilet
The supplements you take MUST be of the highest biological activity and MUST be in proper nutritional balance.
Oxygenic B is as close as I have seen to be considered the perfect supplement.
Simply put, you will not flush your important supplements down the toilet and you can be confident that you are getting the highest quality in the best form for optimal absorption.
You will be pleasantly surprised to discover that Oxygenic B is a great value.
Each bottle has 180 capsules (not hard tablets) for a total cost of only $50.00 plus $10.00 shipping (within USA). This is a two month supply. That amounts to $25.00 per month or $50.00 for two people per month.
Now I have something very special to offer you.
